- The last 18 hole women’s tournament, the President’s Cup, will be held on Sunday, Aug. 20. Maggie, Mary Ellen, Rosie, Ginny and Megan have signed up to organize this tournament and will be posting details soon. Reminder: the entry fee is $15 with both gross and net prizes awarded. Upon completion of this tournament, Carl will start his aeration of the greens.
- The Twilight League comes to an end on Aug. 17 followed by our fun night on Thurs. Aug. 24. Though this isn’t part of the league competition, we hope everyone will play and share pizza afterward. A sign-up sheet will be available on Aug. 17. Spoiler alert ~ we will not be playing the 3-3-3 format this year.
- The Niners will continue their regular schedule into Sept.
- Pro Dave Twohig will likely start his Fall League on Thurs. Aug. 31 and wants to remind us that match play competitions should be finished ASAP.
- The final AGCWA event, OVER 50, will take place on Sun. Sept. 10. So mark your calendars and stay tuned…
