The Women’s Opening Scramble began with an annual meeting of the AGCWA, followed by a luncheon and social. The event was attended by a great turnout of ~40 golfers.

Our first member tournaments were played Sunday April 21, 2024.

A 4-Ball Best Ball ABCD player tournament was played in the AM.

• Colin Dowd, Pat Kelley, Wally Kielb and David Lithgow won Gross with a 74, and
• Don Hodgkins, Jason Carlson, John Nelson and Dave Farnham won Net with a 61.

In the PM, in the Women’s 4 Club

• Megan Donnelly won Gross with a 46, and
• Donna Meisse won Net with a 36.

We are officially open as of Tuesday March 26th for the 2024 golf season . . . come on out and play!  Note that some holes may be closed due to wetness from recent storms.

AMHERST GOLF CLUB

The 2023 Tournament season is a wrap! The team of Boulrice , Fowles and Fowles had low Gross with a 3 under 67 to win the 3-Ball Best Ball Decemberfest II event this weekend. Teschke, Teschke and Thomas took low Net with a 7 under.

Amherst Golf Club wishes all our members and guests, and your families Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.  For those that celebrate, have a Happy Hanukkah and a very Merry Christmas!

The course will be closing December 17th and the Pro Shop will close on December 23rd.  Please redeem your club shop credits or they will expire . . . and keep the Pro Shop in mind for your holiday shopping this year.
