Part of crowd watching action

The family-friendly 9-hole scramble was played on Saturday June 12th, coinciding with a break in the rain . . . a good time was had by all!  The Pub served an absolutely delicious buffet meal after the scramble, which was capped off with 80th birthday wishes to Bob Hassan.

Jay Morgan won the 2016 Senior Championship played on a very windy Sunday June 12th, with sterling 76, followed by Gene Klos with a 79. The “Rocking Chair” trophy with low net of 64 was won by John Hunter, who held off Yusuf Ahmed and Rich Fay who both finished with a net 66. The Kuzmiski Trophy was won by Sam Lussier with a gross 84, who edged out Paul Torpey who had a gross 85. The Roy Gage M&M Trophy is shared by Paul Appleby and Bob Blanchette, who shot net 73s.

A good field was on hand with over 30 entries – complete results are provided below.

1. The weather for the Memorial Day Tournament turned out to be better than predicted allowing everyone to have a good time.

The Dick Garber Memorial Event that was played on Saturday May 28 and Sunday May 29, and congratulations go out to Bill and Colin Dowd for taking honors in the Jack Leaman Division.  Brad Worthley and Blake Keedy won the Steve Cutler Division, and Pat Kelley and Dave King split honors with John Hunter and Doug Meneke in the Don Jacque Division.
